Cardiff Mustangs Olders’ Program

The olders’ program at Cardiff Mustangs is staffed with some of our most experienced and highest level coaches. The program reflects the club philosophies of providing high quality coaching in a player-centered, positive environment. In addition to team training, the olders’ program includes additional strength and conditioning sessions (later this summer and fall, with specific schedule to be announced) at Olympus Movement Performance gym and a series of high school soccer tryout readiness sessions.

Boys 04 Red – Coach Kraig Chiles – our Executive Director of Coaching, Captain of the San Diego Sockers, former captain of the US National Futsal team

Boys 03 Red – Coach Ray Reza – San Diego Sockers player, San Diego State captain, former MLS player with Portland Timbers

Girls 05 Red – Coach Jeff Hughes – our Girls’ Director, former USSDA coach, player for Major Arena Soccer League, US National Futsal team

Girls 04 Red – Coach – San Diego Sockers player and Director of Hispanic Community Relations, former owner/director of Revolucíon Tijuana

Girls 03 Red – Coach Ray Reza – San Diego Sockers player, San Diego State captain, former MLS player with Portland Timbers

 

 

Why Play for the Cardiff Mustangs?

  • Cardiff Mustangs has staffed the 2003-2005 age pools with professional, semi-professional, Development Academy, and college-level coaching staff unrivaled in community clubs
  • All of our older teams will play in the San Diego Developmental Academy and play tournaments appropriate to the level of the teams.
  • Older players will be able to take advantage of the Specialty Training Program with sessions tailored to their needs by Technical Director, Mark O’Sullivan.
